Ladies this time next week Mother’s Day will have come and gone, so think of this as a little klaxon. One blaring that it’s time to get our bums in gear and treat our lovely mums to gifts they actually deserve, rather than a last minute bottle of prosecco from Coop (she loved it and everything, but it wasn’t really thoughtful – and I may have supped at least half of it. Oops.).
If you’re yet to get your mum something that’s even a quarter as fabulous as she is, you really need to pop Thursday night’s Mother’s Day shopping event at Cafe Coho in your diary.
Organised by seriously yummy mummies (and FUN friends) Cafe of Curiosities – a cool, online shop selling wonderfully tongue in cheek mugs, badges and totes, the event also features loads of local business (including Glow Organics, Softer + Wild and women in biz, Georgia from Cheap Thrills). Better still; EVERYTHING will be under £25. So technically that’s a gift for mum sorted and a couple of treats for you, right?
“What better way to grab a bargain, have a giggle and celebrate on of the most important people in your life than with a gorgeous, original gift?” One half of Cafe of Curosities, Bethanie Lunn laughs.
“Bring her along or treat yourself for no reason whatsoever. Everything is under £25 to keep things affordable – ‘cos we all need that almost as much as the uplift. We will be serving free hot drinks for the first 20 through the door and kicking things off with our (in)famous happy dance at 6.30pm – come and laugh with us (or at us), your choice!”
Bargains, amazing local businesses and dancing, on a Thursday night – count us in.
