Social Media Stars: 5 Brighton Pets You’ll Love To Follow

Posted on Sep 17 2017 - 5:17pm by Brighton Style

Living in Brighton, with its sky high property prices; chances are you rent which means having a pet of your very own can be tricky (thanks super-picky landlords!). So, if you’re anything like us, the internet’s where you turn to get your fill of cute and cuddly cats, dogs and er, pigs.

These pawfect (sorry) pets are just a few of our faves to follow on social media – and as they’re Brighton-based, there’s a good chance you might even get to pet them in the flesh too. Ready, set, follow…

Fiveways Wilf

With over 2.5k Facebook followers, handsome Wilf is one of Brighton’s most popular pets on social media. He’s also a regular on the physical social scene around Fiveways too – frequenting The Flour Pot Bakery as often as he can. Give him a follow on Facebook, where his staff – we mean owners – post about his walkabouts and you could even meet him IRL too.

Daphne the Afghan Houndhound

OK, we’ll admit it, we first came across Daphne the beautiful Afghan hound during a beach walk over a year ago. As her hair was blowing in the wind, we thought we’d never seen a dog so graceful and supermodel-like. Now, not only do we now see her on walks beside the sea, but also on Instagram too. Give her a follow to swoon over her gorgeous, enviable locks.

Honey B

Oh how we love miniature wire haired dachshund Honey B! From dressing up as a hot dog to curling up for a snooze after a stroll by the sea, Honey B is super cute. Follow her on Instagram for a sneaky peek at all she gets up to.

Batman & Coco

Gorgeous, not-so-tiny-anymore kittens Batman & Coco make us go gooey every time their pics appear in our feed. And, as their mum is amazing photographer Nadia Meli, every photo is beautiful too.

Louie the Little Pig

There’s not many people in Brighton who can claim to have a pet pig, right? That’s why we’re obsessed with Louie; a lovely black pig who lives in a house in Hove. We love seeing him on Facebook, hanging out with his humans, going for a play on Hove Lawns and having little tantrums when he doesn’t get his own way.
